LIVE from Los Angeles: Legendary prog rockers KANSAS are currently on their 50th Anniversary tour. Tonight we're sitting down with their current frontman Ronnie Platt. Then it's movie time and I've got 4 films that couldn't be more different from each other but are all amazing in their own way. First up, THE OUTRUN. Rona, played by the stunning Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird) leaves London to take a job monitoring wildlife in the remote Orkney Islands of Scotland in an effort to save her life in this moving film that takes us inside a crisis of mental health and alcoholism. Tonight on the show we have Director Nora Fingscheidt. Our second film, SATURDAY NIGHT, takes us to the insane 90 minutes leading up to the premiere of the most legendary sketch comedy show in television history Saturday Night Live. For the documentary lovers we have LEAP OF FAITH. 12 Christian leaders, from the most progressive to the most conservative churches in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area meet to find common ground in an ever changing and challenging world. Finally we present our STONER FLICK PICK: FRANKIE FREAKO. When uptight Conor calls a 1-900 number late at night to get a little freaky he unwittingly unleashes the little party animal Frankie and his pals and all hell breaks loose. THEATRE: Holloween is right around the corner and The Old Globe in San Diego has got the show for you, DRACULA: A Comedy of Terrors. CONCERT: We wrap up the night moved by the haunting melodies of ANOHNI & The Johnsons at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. October 3rd at 7pm-11pm PT, 10pm - 2am ET.
