Weegee emerged from the trash-rock gutter at their own pace, the slow burn of their bone-rattling riffs mirroring the band's arrival onto New York stages. Their 2023 self-released cassette '"Primitive Thrill" has been remixed and given a proper vinyl release on Dot Dash Sounds. To celebrate, the band returns to WFMU one year after blowing minds on the Spin-Age Blasters program.

With the release of their 12th album, Bipolar Explorer continues their beautiful tradition of dream-pop songs and landscapes. "Memories of the Sky" was in part inspired by a Paris exhibition of the works of Louis Janmot, and the reoccurring imagery of protective angels. Frontman Michael Wells, along with Vocalist /Keyboardist Sylvia Solanis visiting from France, recorded a gorgeous live set for Irene.
