	1:27pm Franco Twinkie: Watching Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern eating something very smelly and talking about it was to me a treasured moment watching television.
	1:29pm Sem: Bourdain admitted to eating wart hog in Namibia, I think. He said it was the worst thing he ever had in his mouth.

	1:31pm Franco Twinkie: Oh yeah, in Mondo Pazzo where they get the guy in the cantina to eat a taco full of live ticks was pretty thrilling as well.

	1:38pm zzmm: i once had fresh oyster the size bigger than my hand, sac mantle was like cream-cheese. completely new experience.
	1:38pm solo mon: I am not very adventurous eater but I did try to eat some “stinky tofu” when I was in Shanghai. It smelled sooooooooooooo bad. But tasted ok?

	1:41pm solo mon: We ate percebes at a tapas restaurant once, it didn’t taste bad necessarily but they looked like severed alien penises to me. Not that I would know. Just guessing.

	1:45pm Franco Twinkie: I do believe context has a lot do with what you will swallow. Years ago Chresti got me a job at the mannaquin factory she worked at in East L.A. One day I got a tripe burrito from the lunch truck - no big deal, I've eaten menudo my entire life, but having tripe out of context... I really tried, but just couldn't. I flung it into the trash and then thought about it for a very long time. I think about food constantly, It makes Chresti kind of nuts.

I went with a bunch of people and we all ate the same damn thing. In the morning it all came out of my nose. I couldn't even smell Indian food for years. I got over it. One day I got a tripe burrito from the lunch truck - no big deal, I've eaten menudo my entire life, but having tripe out of context... I really tried, but just couldn't. I flung it into the trash and then thought about it for a very long time. I think about food constantly, It makes Chresti kind of nuts.

I went with a bunch of people and we all ate the same damn thing. In the morning it all came out of my nose. I couldn't even smell Indian food for years. I got over it.
