	11:47am DJ Simulated Woodgrain Veneer Jr.: another early 70s memory: If we went into town (we lived out in the country), my mom would put this kind of radio on the hi fi really loud, supposedly to make anyone who drove up think someone was home (it was pretty common for thieves to drive up someone's driveway and take advantage of the rural isolation and clean out someone's house). We tried convincing our mom that maybe this kind of music wouldn't exactly deter anyone or instill fear in their heart. We tried to talk her into playing a hard rock station.

	12:43pm Mr Fab: Madonna Inn has “cave” themed bathrooms, with waterfalls. A more exciting urination experience one could not hope for.
	12:43pm solo mon: We had the Swiss Eidelweiss room, the cave room, americana was where I slept. There was more A jungle room, a western one and a pretty like bird nest one in the cupulo.

	12:54pm Franco Twinkie: My parents took us to the Madonna Inn in 1964 when we also went to the Heart Castle. The big takeaway for me was making a spectacle of myself in a restaurant and all the people waiting to be seated start laughing. It was just one of the times I pulled a stunt when we were out to eat.

We had tons of Media Music records everywhere in thrifts and sometimes a staton would clear out KPM/Montparnasse titles. :)

We tried convincing our mom that maybe this kind of music wouldn't exactly deter anyone or instill fear in their heart. We tried to talk her into playing a hard rock station.
