I'm sorry to sound like a broken down old record, I have said this so many times but glad to be a broken down record, Irene, you have, are and will do carry on to blow us all away with your sublime choice of music, thank you, thank you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm

Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

The Con Ed guys were here last week for our meters, too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm
Irene Trudel:

Hey Summer and Michael and Sylvia! If Con Ed will have a more accurate way of doing readings, I'm glad they did it. They only cut into my prep time for the show this morning. Hope they weren't too intrusive at your abode.

Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Thanks! I think we missed them completely. Our neighbor said his clock radio had stopped at 7:47am on Thursday. I think they got us done before we were even awake! Sorry they cut into your prep time. Wouldn't know by how great your show is today, as ever! x

Hello Irene and Monday people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm
Irene Trudel:

Summer and Michael and Sylvia, thankfully they didn't have to cut power to install the meter. Luckily I had a few things already in mind last night.

Hi to you, Brian!

Sean in Bristol UK:

Worth exploring the rest of 'Lagos Pepper Soup', Irene? Just love that track you played
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15pm
Irene Trudel:

About 2/3 of Michael Olatuja's album is great. There are some more orchestrated pieces that I don't care for-- too slick for me.
  1:27pm
Listener Robert:

Would've been here sooner, but I had a hot streak going in computer pinball, and it doesn't work right with the sound turned off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm
Irene Trudel:

Gotcha Robert! Hard to abandon a good pinball game.

Michael 98145:

Monday, again? Howdy.
  1:32pm
Listener Robert:

Ms. Trudel, I blame Mr. Belock for making sounds from a pinball arcade a "thing".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm
Irene Trudel:

Howdy Michael!
  1:39pm
Listener Robert:

You can find discussion of this online, BTW -- the MIDI music from that old pinball program is awful, and very loud, but if you run it without the music...well, you can read about the program's strange behavior.

You know, like when your Mt. Hope transmitter goes out, the elevator at the studios skips your floor. At least that's what I've heard from the skeleton crew.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm
Irene Trudel:

I know, Michael and Sean1 It's already getting dark at 7:30pm. Strange to see the sun going down while driving home from a meandering road trip through NJ and Delaware Water Gap yesterday.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:42pm
Michael 98145:

Here in the upper left, the sun sets after 9pm at the height of summer. Love that.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:48pm
Michael 98145:

Obrigado, Irene.

(how is your wrist doing?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm
Irene Trudel:

Michael, I remember visiting my aunt and uncle in Seattle and not seeing the sun set until almost 10pm during early summer. So cool! (Oh, and the wrist is doing very well, thanks. Just trying to find time to keep up the exercises.)
