Such a Bitches Brew vibe here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm
KimSorise:

Certainly does, DocJazz - the break down gets a more sloppy though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm
doctorjazz:

They didn't have Teo Macero to edit and pre it all together...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm

nope

Looks like I heard something else on the drummer a couple of times
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm

Here too, not long, but the stream broke through a couple of times.

I remember the Ze label because I was a big King Creole fan.
  7:35pm
John from Florham park:

Been listening to a lot of WFMU Kim, trying to avoid the news
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
doctorjazz:

I'm obsessed with the news (but still manage to squeezein a lot of FMU)
  7:38pm
John from Florham park:

@Doctorjazz if I need the news I will listen to the BBC or the CBC and maybe from the pacific radio Australia
  7:40pm
John from Florham park:

I REFUSE to watch cable news
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40pm
doctorjazz:

Doesn't leave me much time to listen to record arrivals, but I've been liking a vinyl reissue of guitarist Duck Baker, Spinning Song plays the music of Herbie Nichols. He's a ragtime guitar player who somehow discovered free jazz.
  7:41pm
John from Florham park:

@Doctorjazz did you find that on band camp?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm
KimSorise:

I learned of Ze because is the Contortions.
I am avoiding the news at all costs except a couple times a week I will watch our new governor's daily press conference.
No national shit
More records
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
doctorjazz:

My news consumption includes: NPR, NY Times, the Times podcast "The Daily", New York Magazine, many Washington Post articles, and related feeds (it's exhausting...).
  7:43pm
John from Florham park:

@Kim good for you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm
doctorjazz:

Have the Contortions as well, forgot they were on Ze! Saw then live, back in the 80s.
  7:45pm
John from Florham park:

@ Doctorjazz I would say so get the BBC iPlayer they have other things on there besides the world service
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm
KimSorise:

I think after years in news it is easy for me to compartmentalize and thankfully not need it daily. I am a hell of a researcher - so I will always find what I need. I don't love or enjoy the feed.
  7:46pm
John from Florham park:

Ohh love iggy pop
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm
