It was very faint? At this end at least. But I'm on a computer and usually keep the vol. kind of low because work. But yes, had to crank to get any sound.

Your stream coming through loud and clear from the beginning. Hi all fellow streamers.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm

Well, regarding loud, the GTD auto stream is generally louder than output from live DJ feeds. So, yes, a change in volume but what I usually experience.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm

I wonder why when I was 20 I had no interest in Francoise Hardy records but now want to hear more. Paralleling my finding a performance by Burt Bacharach as one of my favorite recent Glastonbury performances.

I, for one, miss the commercials. I have no idea which Hyundai dealers are having the Presidents Day sale, whether ZIPS dry cleaners still does shirts for a dollar, what time the Happy Hour starts at Buddy's Crabs and Ribs and the per pound price of ground sirloin at Safeway. Such a void I can't seem to fill with Oreos and Bryers salted caramel ice cream.

Nancy Sinatra is actually one of the few friends to still visit Claudette in her recluse apartment in Van Nuys. Claudette talks little and survives on a diet of Cheetos and anything in a jar that’s pickled. She supposedly sneaks out late at night and sings cabaret at a local club, disguised as a man, though she is most likely unrecognizable as she is.

Someday, pay a visit to the small Sonny Bono shrine at the Palm Springs airport.

Julie:

Oh wow I didn't know there was one! Don't think I've ever been in that airport.

Michael 98145:

It's in a niche next to the escalator.

Twiggy was HUGE. Mattel even made a Twiggy Barbie in the 60s

I'm old enough to remember Twiggy sort of being everywhere on television and magazine covers.

This sounds like one of the songs Syd B. did with Soft Machine.

She was certainly a cultural presence for me as a toddler/very small kid, and I was, uh, not fashion forward.

On Syd Barrett fb groups - there is much attitude & discussion about how Waters & Gilmour handled the whole Crazy Syd situation - & putting his Solo albums together... Syd's been such an influence on Alternative - being spooked by the material seems quite weird now...

I recall a roommate having this album, so long ago.

OMG the FB Syd Group is AWFUL. they hate Waters and Gilmour

I'm really not sure what to think of it all. I give a lot of leeway to 1960s dudes in their early 20s just trying to have a career who had to deal w/ crazies like Syd & Moon & Morrison & Brians Jones & Wilson
...otoh - their the damn inspired Artists - is it so hard to give their leashes some damn slack...
