Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from October 25, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04pm

I wonder if the station is still any good. Oh, the street names are coming back to me. I remember going to a branding party at someone's house somewhere near Huron.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm

Then I moved to Oregon and all the late night shows were Grateful Dead bootlegs. :(
Avatar 1:05pm

Another good starting place for NWW is Spiral Insana. Both Soliloquy for Lilith and Homotopy for Marie are drones if I recall correctly, and Spiral is definitely not that. Honestly I have a hard time describing Spiral Insana. Feels kinda avant-classical I guess.

one thing about listening to this station on TuneIn is that I don't recall ever having to wait out a 15 second ad before it came on... not sure if that's a thing that stations can avoid on TuneIn or if I've just had good luck

Avatar 2:05pm

BH: same here. Never had any ads forced into the stream. So far so good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm
Phillippe Bastille:

I use the paid version of TuneIn; still get ads for certain stations but I think its the station's doing, not TuneIn's. If I hear one more Progressive Insurance or Home Depot ad when I'm trying to listen to some OTR I'm gonna scream louder than Amanda
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm
chresti:

What is roku?
  2:08pm
BH:

It used to be possible to move the little ball forward to essentially skip the ads on TuneIn, but somebody eventually figured out "hey, that would allow people to skip the ads". Pretty much every TuneIn ad involves switching stations or listening to one.. so it's a little less jarring than what i've heard about Spotify ads
