Obscure NYC radio trivia: The New Sounds streams also broadcasts via something called "HD Radio" that almost nobody uses. I am one of probably 6 or 7 people who owns an HD-capable radio and occasionally listens to New Sounds on 105.9-2 instead of the Intertubes. Other HD channels regularly go down and nobody even notices or complains.
