Sun. Dec 22nd, 3pm - 5pm:
The Unsolicited Return of the Winter Soul-stice (fill-in for Paul Bruno)
(More info...)
You can't stop the seasons from turning, and you evidently also can't stop an old dog from performing his one old trick. Answering the teeming clamor of one New York Times food columnist
, Gaylord Fields is returning to WFMU's airwaves for a one-off Winter Soul-stice program. In his time away he's learned nothing, so the format will remain the same: two hours of original 1960s soul 45s, and the abuse of an expensive reverb machine for the sake of corny vocal effects.

@Webhamster You just made think of Planet of the Vampires, good Italian film with great sets and color, directed by Mario Bava. Think I'll watch it tonight after Gaylord.
Hello Gaylord and everyone ! , loving the set so far and I'm what's yet to come too! hope you all are just loveing this well,,, spectacular and long weekend too !
Chresti can't go to the bbq because she has to work early, but as I am packing the corn, pot ect, she asked me if I am going to take ayahuasca. Actually, the idea of vomiting before the chicken is done has a certain end of summer appeal.
Why does the harpsichord on this song sound so perfectly strange? I do think the early Rolling Stones had more songs telling girls off than singing their praises. or am I wrong?
