Hi Ho Fabio, giants, background singers and funky bass players.

Appropriately, as Mr Giant Man was playing, I noticed this at the top of the NYT homepage: "You don’t keep a failure résumé? Maybe it’s time to start."

I don't care what Andy Breckman presents as the greatest song intros ever. Mr. Giant Man does it best!

Hey my fellow WFMU listeners do people here use Spotify to create playlists from listening to this station

This song only gets 1 colon? It's definitely of 4-5 colon caliber.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
Peapod Ross:

@crateslinger - if it makes you feel any better, one time I was so, uh, on acorns, that I thought a band I liked was busking somewhere in the subway. I tried for a minute to find them but it was just my headphones.
Avatar 3:35pm
crateslinger:

Haha - Steveo, me too. One time I thought Irwin was playing Taylor Swift which is not outside the realm of possibility.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
coelacanth∅:

John (fFP) i use snotify. i never have and probabaly never will let them do the computations though. i started using it when i determined that my bedroom floor is too wobbly for playing records, and i like listening to whole albums; then when my saved songs/albums got to an unmanageable level i started making playlists to get some of the saved songs off the queue.
now i have several dozen playlists, including at least 10-12 just for falling asleep to.

...some people on wfmu comments boards don't like the mention of spotify; even though lots of folks mention youboob -which is worse, in my opinion, for several reasons. djs even play songs off youboob. i'd be desperate to do that. spotify sounds better + doesn't support gobble.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm

I played one of Timothy Leary's video games once! It was a sort of "choose your own adventure" text adventure that begins with your character being born as an infant. I thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever played in high school, though I'm not sure it was meant to be.
