KimSorise:

Beautiful! Enjoy - it is so nice. I think I am going to pick up the half speed reissue of Scenery next pay day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm
doctorjazz:

Half speed huh?... Audiophile territory!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16pm
KimSorise:

I am not so much - but I most certainly noticed a difference with Mellow Dream. Lush.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17pm
doctorjazz:

I see it on Amazon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm
doctorjazz:

I'm not sure the half speed itself makes that much difference but when a label goes to the trouble to do that ,they also usually get a master of a well recorded session It all adds up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm
KimSorise:

It says it is from the original master recording
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29pm
doctorjazz:

That's probably more important,(he says like he knows something about this )

NGH - Franklin is one of the most amazing double bassists of the late 60s - 70s. PLayed with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Hampton Hales & was on Hugh Masekela’s Grazing in the the grass(in).. This is from his first LP on Black Jazz
