hey gang! ages ago there was a keen video tour of the fools paradise catacombs, which rex hosted. does anyone remember this or know where it may still exist in the ether?
I can vouch (and verify, if challenged) that Greg from ZONE 5 bowled a not-too-shabby 215 yesterday. He's too modest to toot his own horn. I'm okay with my own 132.
Your reminiscences about the Dean Martin show brought to mind one woman who didn't fit into either of the categories you mentioned. She was a semi-regular comedienne, red hair, a bit big-hipped, usually payed either a secretly randy mouseburger or a still-randy middle aged mom. She was brilliant, and she got a lot of work in those days, but dang it, I can't find her name no matter what I try. Pity, 'cause she's well worth remembering.
What an absolutely perfect sunny day for walking the dog to the park with Fool's Paradise blasting from my smart phone tucked in my jacket. Not at all bad for February in Kansas!
Records with "Beatle" in the title are almost always great records (and rarely sound anything like the Beatles themselves). It's the shameless exploitation that makes them great!
because of course, mambo is the first thing i think of when i hear the word ontario.

Kand Sass:
Kansas is one of two death-penalty states, along with New Hampshire, where no executions have been carried out since the 1976 reinstatement of capital punishment in the United States.
@Greg from ZONE 5: That's mighty kind of you, but I'd prefer to have your seven-strike game. My personal best is when I rolled six strikes in one game at a lane in Istanbul. (Yes, I bowled two turkeys in Turkey! And yes, that's going on my tombstone.)
@glenn: My knowledge of pop-culture Canadiana for no good reason made me the hit of a Canada Day party hosted by some expats in Brooklyn several years ago.
Gaylord, you need to get up here to Quebec for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day! It's like Canada Day, but with better music and more Catholicism-derived swear words.
...sorry burst into yer kewl like that: I hadda lotta da cafe & been bashin' electric gee-tar : if this paradise weren't here, I might get the bendz comin' around too fast...much obliged faithfuls...
