Īke & Ram:

When I left Maryland & WHFS and came to the NYC area and heard WDRE, I was seriously NOT impressed. Tighter, more repetitive playlist. But maybe WFMU had already infected me slightly, even after just a few weeks.

Avatar 12:59am
(Eyepatch) Fox:

warhamster: They toured with FM Einheit. And Genesis was dressed like a tranny Hitler, screaming in gibberish German between sets. I was at this tiny venue in Manhattan, and I just remember the crowd was a writhing crazed mess, and I touched every member of the band, started spontaeneously making out with my ex because the energy was so insane.
Avatar 1:00am
BadGuyZero:

"The Nomi Song" is one of the best music documentaries I've seen.

I remember that show being way more intense then when I saw them at the Limelight a couple years later.
Avatar 1:18am
(Eyepatch) Fox:

I guess it'd have to be, in such a small place, as compared to Limelight. So much space to fill with energy! Man, though.... Pigface in Limelight... sounds amazing.
Avatar 1:27am
BadGuyZero:

At a Pigface show in Dallas circa 1994/95 Mary Mary brought out an inflatable raft and floated around on the crowd for part of the show.
