Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from July 24, 2015 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Last year, the squirrels used to come up and take my jalapenos, take a bite, and realize they weren't tasty, and throw them away. They also buried quite a few. This happened almost every day until my plants were nearly stripped. Finally one day I caught them, and threw a bucket of water on them, and they never came back.

Alex In Illinois:

I sometimes wonder how they came up with "The Flying Nun". Maybe, they wanted to make a show with a female superhero, but they did not think the censors would let them get away with Wonder Woman at the time. Or maybe someone noticed that certain types of nuns wore headgear that looked like airplanes, and though it would be really neat if they could fly.
