Don:

I want to share one of my favorite stories of listening to Fabio.
One day at my old job, I drove over to the fast-food joint at the strip mall, listening to Fabio playing some Aaron Dilloway.
I parked in a secluded, shady spot and went in to get my lunch.
I came back to my car, had a quick smoke, and put the radio back on.
As I ate, I listened to a fantastic collage of noise in a lightly-buzzed state. Voices, sounds and music drifting in and out of dense layers of sound. Random at first, but the more I listened, the more I could detect the structure of it all. It was amazing. I was so into it, I didn't want to go back to work. I wanted to hear every second of it, I needed to know the artist.
Finally I started to drive. Seconds later the radio locked onto WFMU's signal and I realized I had been listening to between-station noise the entire time.
Hail Fabio, for giving us a radio show that makes a story like this make perfect sense!
