Favoriting January 20, 2015: A sweet winter's eve with Don Bikoff.

Popping in to play a few tunes for a wintery night, Don Bikoff is a fingerstyle guitarist who has had a resurgence thanks to the reissue of his debut "Celestial Explosion." Bikoff returned to the studio after that long break to put out last year's "Hallowed Ground." To shake things up a little for this show, Don dropped by for the evening with a couple of guitars and an armload of vinyl to co-host with Irene.

Well, this was a nice surprise to hear Don Bikoff on WFMU after a long ride home. I was quite fortunate to engineer a set from Don Bikoff on Jeffrey Davison's show a few years ago, and it was quite a superb experience.
