Fun/useless trivia about this song. It was the opening theme to the TV show "The Dead Zone" for a few seasons.

oh I didn't realize we were discussing a new name for Therese's show.. I just thought we were discussing female names we appreciated.. I think Therese's show should continue to be called 'Therese'.. I mean it really nails it in my opinion.. pretty much dead on with that name..

First stab at a recursive acronym-style name - "Therese Has Everyone Running Everywhere Surprisingly Easily"

No one (or thing) named Gladys is ever going to let you down, right? You just know someone's got your back with a Gladys.

I've never had pierogi. It's on a long list of foods I've yet to try but want to at some point.

Ola Therese, welcome back!! As far as Best Of shows, that year you had people call in with resolutions and more, was, hey, let's face it, brilliant- in re a show title, what about "Mahler's 5th" (which you can then update going forward) ?

Avatar 1:38am
BadGuyZero:

We took one semester of woodshop and one semester of drafting. I learned how to print super-tiny in that drafting class.
  1:38am
JakeGould:

I liked woodshop. Making cranes out of hunks of wood. Brooklyn public schools!
Avatar 1:41am
Danne D:

Basically I was terrible. We had to make a stool. By the end of the marking period I had 5 pieces of uneven wood. With about a week to go, my 5 pieces of wood mysteriously disappeared. I think the teacher took pity on me (he "graded me on my what I did") - my brothers had had him years before - they were actually good at woodshop.

I'm signing off here but thanks as always for your wonderfulness Therese :)

I did better in metal shop than in wood shop. I made a cart for dad's oxi-acetylene gas welder tanks.
Avatar 1:49am
BadGuyZero:

I was a disaster in woodshop. I was at home in drafting class.
Avatar 1:53am
Therese:

I would have been a disaster in drafting. Super tiny printing takes a much steadier hand than I have.
  1:54am
rw:

I fantasized about making a guitar in wood shop. My folks still have a wall mounted coat rack from... 1976 maybe? '77?
Avatar 1:55am
BadGuyZero:

I think my mom still has a miniature cookbook shelf/stand that I made in woodshop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01am

I made my Mom a spice rack in wood shop in junior high -- well I made some pieces, anyway...brought 'em home in a bag. Yeah...wood shop wasn't really my thing.

Yes. This Coltrane would have been too long. FCC would have been pissed.

My previous two cars had frameless windows, so a wire coat hanger or a skinny strip of metal would get me in. My current car has push-button start and beeps and doesn't lock if I try to lock it with the key fob inside.
