That time change thing was confusing. They said at 3am to change the time on my clock to 2am. So I did. Then when it was 3am I set my clock back to 2am. And so on and so on. I have no idea what time it is right now.

Oh yeah...it's THERESE TIME!!!

Try taking a train that leaves at 2 am. I would fall for that every year until I wised up and starting driving in

I was checking the time on my phone last night and I saw the time switch from 1:59 to 1:00. It kind of freaked me out a little, especially because I was watching an episode of The Twilight Zone about time travel.

I have this game that I play with my wife: when a song with the word "love" in the words comes on the radio, I sing it with "mud" substituted for "love".

From now on, it will be dark when I get off work. That's cool -- it always seems weird in the summer when the sun is still well above the horizon when I get off.

ahh taking the L train last night song ,,, wooo .. . ..
  12:49am
Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

This song could not be about DC's Metro because it doesn't include any complaints about broken escalators.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am

I so laugh and shake my head when people complain now about MTA Subway ,, is the ones who have know idea what it was like 30 - 40 years ago ..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52am

I know my dog won't win, so I don't care. Will try to love whatever animal does win, regardless...

Thanks, Therese. My dog's going to be so excited when he wins!!! And... I sent several small pledges to several of my favorite DJ's but I can't remember if I sent anything to your show... My brain's a little mushy. I think I need to add another couple $.

Tome, you got that right but I miss the tokens
  12:54am
rw:

Anybody know where I put my wallet?
Avatar 12:54am
Matt from Springfield:

True dat Bob!

(I once thought of making a test for determining how much of a "Washingtonian" one is. One weighted answer would be if you've *had* to walk up the escalators of Dupont Circle, Rosslyn and (other similiarly long tunnel entrance) stations, because they were broken. I've had to walk up those two!)
  12:54am

Tome I take the L too but not across river, much

This Pouring Rain is a great song, Therese

from the bushwick / Ridgewood border myself originally still have few friends there I visit on occasion,, and can leave the sawed off shot gun home now ...
Avatar 1:00am
Bad Giblet Zero:

One night after I'd had too much cake and ice cream I pushed a shopping cart down an escalator, but just hard enough so that it was going down at the same rate of speed that the steps on the escalator were going up.
  1:01am
JakeGould:

Tome, isn’t it amazing how Bushwick is a “thing” now but is still really scary in parts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02am

I wonder who "won".

Jake Gould, yes, a little worrying
  1:03am

Dream Police are coming this way, well brooklyn at least
  1:04am

For example, I live in Bay Ridge now. And there are still sketchy parts near Sunset Park but still… Nothing like Bushwich/Ridgewood scary.

It's hard to say about neighborhoods, because one person's "Augh!" is another person's "meh."

Maybe she's trying to get a Lifetime movie for her cat. "Taylor Swift's Cat's Eight-Second Christmas."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am

I had a chance 25 years ago to purchase ,, commercial real estate in Red Hook,,, don't you think I am kicking myself in the butt hard now?,, try to get commerical real estate in brooklyn now ..

Taylor Swift is definitely a replicant.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16am
pacific standard simon:

Remember when Madonna released an alternate version of her latest single on the internet, under a whole bunch of sock puppet names, and the only lyrics were, "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I think it was supposed to discourage downloading, or maybe encourage downloading of Madonna at that point in her career.

Taylor Swift often looks like the ZOMG cat.
