Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:06am
Sem Chumbo:

For the record, here, in a letter addressed to André Morellet in 1779, is what Benjamin Franklin actually did say:

Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy.
Avatar 5:07am
Matt from Springfield:

@Meghan: Moogs for Droogs, Part I

What I LOVE about this theme is that the dark, synth sound, the music is actually over 300 years old. Henry Purcell's "Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary" taken into the synthesized age.
Avatar 5:09am
Matt from Springfield:

Wine is lovely too! Thanks Sem for that full quote, I never saw it before.

For the record, Hearty White once played the original "analog" version by Purcell--it was much like Carlos' version, with brass instruments instead of Moog.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11am

Kubrick played all the hits in Clockwork for sure, Matt.
