I think my yellow duck shower curtain will need replacing some time soon... not sure there's a better pattern than that

Wow, I never thought I'd hear someone cover Mary Margaret O'Hara!

sometimes it pains me that the rubber duck has displaced the rubber chicken in pop culture

Good morning Julie, listeners!! Happy birthday Cheri!

Park B. Smith Ducky Time Watershed Shower Curtain? Looks impressive! Where were you when I needed you, hamburger?
  3:32am

I found an ad for some old bed sheets that have a sandwich motif.

It's like Bed, Bath & Beyond on the comments board tonight!

I was in the -shower- mark! oh the chuckles are truly endless here!
  3:37am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I saw a "Psycho" themed shower curtain many years ago. I'm sure it's been replaced by an "American Psycho" themed shower curtain.

"Psycho" : Rubber chicken :: "American Psycho" : Rubber ducky

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Lots of Universal flicks have suffered music rights clearance issues for home video release. "Slap Shot" and "Sixteen Candles" both had different songs [often similar sounding knock-off tunes] until recent years.

BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I thought the glitch was an extended remix.

Hmmm I don't know if it does.. it's got all kinds of stuff
  4:11am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

There's a moment in the rehearsals where Roger starts yelling at the stage crew for building the wall too quickly and throwing off the timing of the show. There's other "Roger yelling" moments, but that one is my fave.

so i work at the library and today i had to return the dark side of the moon immersion box set. i left it on the bus. i randomly tune in now and had no idea there was a wall immersion box. this is either am amazing sign from the floyd gods or a hellish portent that i will owe $150 to the place i work at.

  4:33am
larry in portland:

FVH, sort of as 6th grade is when i immersed but maybe then i was flashing back to kindergarten and my first wall exposure! if that's what you meant. this damn album ruled my life til i found the butthole surfers in '86... big run.
  4:35am
hamburger:

I didn't know there was a Winnie the Pooh movie in 2011, and wasn't made in 3d! and even the Roger Ebert approved...
  4:35am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Larry: I've regularly seen the immersion sets available online for 30 to 40 percent below the list price. Do some checking around and you should be able to find them for under $100.

@BGZ unfortunately if no one turns in the library copy i lost they'll charge me what they paid for it... i know i work there! sad story, hoping my returning of lost items karma will pay off.

@Larry: Ten-four. Karma does a great job of making sure people get what they give. I hope it comes through for you. :)

larry in portland:

man this is really a great show... been so long since i popped into wfmu randomly... love it
  4:58am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Julie: Amazon and WalMart have the lowest prices right now...
Dark Side of the Moon ($129.98 list) - Amazon: $125.85 | WM: $123.88
Wish You Were Here ($179.98) - Amazon: $129.99 | WM: $139.98
The Wall ($199.98 list) - Amazon: $109.95 | WM: $107.88

Yes...I know some of you may have an issue with WalMart. I'm just showing the lowest prices I found.

Right before "The Wall" immersion box came out Amazon had the other two for under $100 each. I thought about picking them up but decided to visit Jersey City and NYC instead. If I see a tremendous deal on any of them I'll post something on the DNOTS Facebook wall.
  4:59am
