Decided to think it over overnight to take them in to foster. The very next day… a Boxing Day miracle! There weren’t just two tabbies… there were also two tuxedos. Male female. Now snug and resting in the nest. Had we brought the others up the day before we’d have never known what a grave mistake we’d almost made. Therefore tomorrow and today are birthdays for Alpha, Munchkin, Tabitha and Tuxedo. Mama only lasted another year or so. Gone but loved. Foster fails I couldn’t let go. No regrets. Now snug and resting in the nest. Had we brought the others up the day before we’d have never known what a grave mistake we’d almost made.
