UPC is a symbology that many people are familiar like QR codes, but there are quite a few different bar code symbologies. They're used for asset tracking, logistics, medical testing, and more. It's also known as automatic data capturing. The technology started in the 1940s. Anyhoo, I've done this for 25 years and I could put people to sleep talking about my work. I'm sure many would rather watch a panda scratch its belly.

	9:04am Justin Patrick Moore: I had a CD of barcode music by some German experimental musician at one time. It's not in my collection anymore. He used sheets of barcodes to trigger things programmed with midi -so he would scan them and all these sounds would erupt out of his electronic set up.

UPC is a symbology that many people are familiar like QR codes, but there are quite a few different bar code symbologies. They're used for asset tracking, logistics, medical testing, and more. It's also known as automatic data capturing. The technology started in the 1940s. Anyhoo, I've done this for 25 years and I could put people to sleep talking about my work. I'm sure many would rather watch a panda scratch its belly.
