PJ Harvey. Hi erik!

Erik/VT:

Ok … no wonder it was captivating.
Oh btw, that Connie Francis tune is/was fun !

Isn't that a good tune?

Erik/VT:

I haven’t been able to listen to Clay Pigeon lately, yet i noticed, are you doing regular film segments on his wake & bake?
(Or perhaps filling in for Fox?)
What have you reviewed ?
Avatar 11:33pm
Bob Barth:

↳ Erik/VT @11:31
I took over for Fox. Quick little reviews on TV & Film that we do much more in depth, here.

↳ Bob Barth @11:33
Recommendations more than reviews. Which is kind of the same here.

Erik/VT:

Ok. indeed & appreciated. I miss Fox’s overnight radio slow = It was so unique - warts & all, like hearing how the sausage was made.

↳ Erik/VT @11:43
agreed, she's a character

Erik/VT:

- your tip on bundling-up for the old drafty theaters 🎭 in winter months got me chuckling … I recently attended that Kate Winslet movie “Lee” in a similar publicly funded charming old town hall theater. It wasn’t even November yet, but a chilly October evening.
As I departed, I glanced at the digital thermostat - it was 61°F - we were all wearing our hooded parkas.
Truly an “in-sens-O-round” experience.

Bob Barth:

Even here those old theaters get straight up cold in the fall/Winter

Erik/VT:

Curious, have you seen the new Robert Zemeckis film “Here” yet? I usually love (or at least appreciate) his films, despite several getting mediocre reviews.
I love the concept, yet wondering what fellow movie lovers have been experiencing.
Avatar 12:21am
Bob Barth:

I haven't. The studio has kept it tight under wraps pre opening. But I can tell you that my 74 year old Dad liked it.
  12:23am
Erik/VT:

Hahaha - good enough for me ! Love getting that second-hand recommendation. 😊

& he doesn't like movies. So take it for what its worth.
  12:33am
Erik/VT:

Recently watched a not well received movie “Bad Behavior” by actress/director Alice Allegra Englert (Jane Campion’s daughter!) that I thought was really worthy!
- of course, to each their own. Yet I sometimes wonder what do some folks expect from a creative artists / movie.

↳ Erik/VT @12:33
Nice cast. I'll look for it.
  12:49am
Erik/VT:

IMO, both Jennifer Connelly & Alice Englert (& Ben Whishaw & lesser knowns) were terrific.
btw, Aimee Mann rules !!! = 🫀💕🥰.
- appreciate her career, she’s remained very steady & consistent over the decades.
