Good Evening Everybody.

After the very high standards of the last 2 shows will Fabio be able to maintain this momentum?

FWIW I've been laid up with the flu this week & slept & eaten very little but I've listened to the last 2 shows about 4 times each & it deffo helped.

I' m going to have to find a way to donate.

But enough yap, time to pay attention to the sounds!

I remember Old Dutch Mustard factory in Williamsburg circa 1994. I was at Organism and Hit and Run Theatre's production of The Inferno where I played Virgil. I had long hair. Before that was Cat's Head. The Lunachicks were in the 2nd ring of hell, Lust I believe. My boss is out of the office, so I am a free range employee right now even though I am a co owner. This music is eerie.

Pretty sure that'd be heavily frowned upon.

I do know stations get fined for playing the EBS tones 'out of context'

I recall reading the some NFL team used it over their stadium PA & the TV companies were fined.

So it is actually possible to make a track that even wfmu won't play,..., which is a thing I quite like.

Avatar 4:29pm

Just to correct myself it's is the EAS, alert not broadcast.

I think part of the issue is that the initial crackles contain info about which region the alert is for & making the encoders/decoders wonder if there's an error could potentially lock up the system even if only for a few seconds
