I make potato salad a little different each time. It's got to have something crunchy and something smooth (I do like the mayo). Sometimes I add greens and make it a potato salad salad. I am heating up the griddle, to toast a slice of pizza.

i think i've given up on potato salad. i used to love it but i keep trying different ones, for several years now and they're all BORING. had one a few days ago, the best one in years, with egg and mustard...still it was boring every time i got a big piece of potato.

Yes. Vinegar is a mild solvent, and Glen Passaic works wherever a solvent is required. It's wasteful, though -- not of the liquor, but of the potatoes. You must leave each whole to be left with a one-inch cube.

One project I've been working on today: someone gave me a copy of Dead Kennedy's Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables but it was without its cover, so I'm designing a paper cover to glue onto a blank matte black sleeve I found, Folkways style. I wanna make it look like Folkways briefly put a run of punk records.
