Knowing our crowd, you'd have to divide prospects into several self-selected categories:

First, "satiric"/"non-satiric" (since a lot of us would go on just to make a joke profile)
Of the non-satiric: what purpose are they seeking: "meetup"/"hookup"/"friendship"/"romance"/"platonic performance art".
And whether they are "particular" or "non-particular". Particulars can add unlimited requests for pickiness, non-particulars a more general character-limited box.

...i was personal witness, when i used to drink beer regularly, to several beers going from very good to fairly shitty. mostly imports.
lowenbrau; molson golden ale; anchor steam ale... (i'm forgetting at least as many again)
and some that went from very good to *pretty good* - guinness stout; foree belgian ale; samuel smith's oatmeal stout...
of course, there are variables regarding my own tastebuds; but i'm fairly certain

maybe - but in all cases the flavour's decline coincided with increased popularity.
so i always assumed it's because of changes in their production...to produce it faster; and having to find more and dependable sources of ingredients - inevitably lowering the quality of such ingredients.
when i first had molsen golden ale, and lowenbrau, they were imports, only available at a few stores here and there. (my older brother would get them for me when i was a teenager!)
