For many years, a good number of "Bold Venture" episodes were thought to be lost, until fan recordings were discovered, and filled in the gaps in the broadcast history.
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 9:41pm
Austin Rich:

I think I've talked about this before, but there are varying stories about how many episodes of "Bold Venture" there were. Most people agree that, because each episode had several titles (so they could be re-run to create the impression that there were more episodes than there were), the discrepancies in how many episodes were made come from those other episode titles.

Bradbury stories got adapted quite a bit on this show, eh? Understandable - great stories, short enough for a half-hour radio slot, action, shocks, not the conceptual type sci-fi. Just right for radio.
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 10:34pm

At my work, where we sell rare book and sci-fi ephemera, my boss came into some letters, that Ray Bradbury received, from various radio shows that paid him for his stories. While I didn't see any Dimension X letters in the pile, I do know from other sources that Ray DID get paid by this show when they used his stories. Since Sci-Fi didn't pay well, Ray certainly could use every little payday.
