I saw a very good documentary from 2009 called "1959: The Year That Changed Jazz". where they profile 4 albums released that year Miles Davis' "Kind Of Blue", Dave Brubeck's "Time Out", Charles Mingus' "Mingus Ah Um" and Ornette Coleman's "The Shape Of Music To Come".

Was thinking of cooking, but I'm COVID positive, wife and older daughter are positive (daughter started it), while my younger daughter is negative (had it 3-4 weeks ago). Likely we all have the same strain, but on the chance that my younger daughter had a different strain, we're isolating in the house from her (wotta pain...). Likely just order out.

I just now finished reading Byrds - Requiem For The Timeless - Vol 1 by Johnny Rogan (well, at least, the 872 pages of text. With notes, etc, the book is 1200 pages long). It’s really exhaustive (in a good way). Ironic that the end is consumed with a lot of death, and Johnny Rogan, himself, left this mortal coil a little while back. I’ve got Vol 2 also. It’s equally bulky. Not sure when and if…
