	2:37pm WR: Since Dave usually lets his guest lead, at the beginning I thought I knew which was William and which was Dave but lost the thread by the time the switch to bass violin was made.

	🥁 2:39pm doctorjazz: Thanks for asking, Doug! We're all sick in a coldish kind of way (like most of the world), the house is alive, with the sound of coughing, to paraphrase Julie Andrews). I'm the only healthy one. All COVID tests have been negative, just routine winter stuff. Not sleeping much, though-13 year old pooch is up pacing all night, me'thinks he's developing doggie dementia, or at least an anxiety disorder.

During at least one upcoming duet you will hear him on bass for sure. @doctorjazz Glad to hear you're all hanging in there. @ARB I have a certain fondness for the Monogahela, but love would be overstating things.

	🥁 2:46pm doctorjazz: It's an interesting double-many reed players double on other reeds, trumpet players play other horns, not that many cross into other instrument classes.

	3:51pm Doug Schulkind: @WR What makes you think the out-of-tune piano is on Dave's side? I've been in his apartment and don't remember seeing a piano. Maybe he's using an out-of-tune piano app.
	🥁 3:53pm doctorjazz: It sounds more "prepared" than out of tune, the notes have some dulled sound to them, not the usual sharp percussive piano sound (AND, an electronic/app could make these sounds, I'm sure).
	3:57pm WR: Ok, now not so sure, was that Dave on soprano. But I thought I heard him recently tell someone he had got a piano at his place. And, agreed, some of the piano notes sounded plucked or stroked.
