I suggested you'd be the type to get REALLY into sourdough baking. Any sort of glimpse into your pandemic hobbies would be much appreciated. We're all quite interested!"

First time being a patient with him so I guess they assess to see if you'd need to come in. Now I haven't been to the dentist in like a decade (doctors and hospitals give me the worst anxiety so I never go). But my 2nd vax date is Thursday, so instead of going in tomorrow I'm going to try and push it back until next week. Just to play it safe. My whole timeline depends on the Thurs vax date.

the station manager is being super careful, FT8, 3 weeks post 2nd vax and you can broadcast from the station in the main studio. I'd be in studio C so I'm not quite allowed in there yet even though my status is good. Although I'm very spoiled doing this from home now!

Have you spoken to your dentist about taking the vaccine? I have two coworkers who had to have their appointments rescheduled recently because they had a vaccine too close to their appointment date. I believe many dentists are asking for 1 to 2+ weeks depending on what you are having done.

Julie, I never thought so, but we finally figured out that if we use Columbia dentists, it actually stretches pretty far, and the dentists all know how it works and the offices do too so they can help work the system for you. And thankfully there's a Midtown practice so we don't have to go all the way uptown for it.

WFMU is practically the only media I see! I have not been engaging with the scattered antivaxxer commenters, though that's becoming harder. Mainly because I feel bad that Rev Rab and Yeti Bob keep stepping into that breach.

I have still not had a cavity. But all the smoking had done bad gum things, and my inattention let that go too far.

Mainly I wish they would figure out some way to let me read during these procedures!
