Roud #104 is the story of a pirate who took it too far apparently. Given permission by a Scot king to raid Portuguese ships. Then they expanded operations. Then King Henry 8's ships fought them since they'd violated their pirate permit. Something like that?

In college I worked at the bookstore. The asst. manager was from Granada. Super guy, really treated me well. He worked 9-5 and the bookstore, went home and saw his son, had dinner, then went and worked as a night watchman. He slept an hour and a half a night. He told me that when he went home to Granada every year for vacation he'd sleep an entire three hours a night.

He *loved* Guinness. I have never met anyone who loved it more.

Fridays were his day to control the radio in the store because one station -- I *think* BAI -- had a Granadian show.

He was an excellent boss and a good person. Here's to you, Mike!

Thanks, David! This was a blast! Always glad to take the journey with you all. Be well, Voyageurs!
