Just saw the Bee Gees documentary, really good, sad (in the middle of the Hollies Doc, which is also like).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm

Like those really Bee Gees albums-have an Odessa reissue, have to pull it out, haven't heard it in ages.

G'day Kim & Greasers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm
doctorjazz:

Recently got some Blue Note 45 RPM reissues, so far very nice sounding. Also the Live Sonny Rollins in Holland, some Lisa Sokolov (after her appearance on Music for a Free World), and Susan Alcorn's album. Been obsessed with the Webber-Morris Big Band, and Devotion (Dave Douglas, Uri Caine, Andrew Cyrille). That's been keeping me busy.
How's everyone been doing?

How did you do, NGH? Things settling?
Avatar 8:16pm
northguineahills:

I don't think I've ever heard "Djed" on WFMU. (and no, it's not pronounced Deejayed) (It's an ancient Egyptian symbol for stability that looks like a pillar).

Mentally, settling down. Didn't sleep last night, finally got to sleep, and and an hour later the cleaning staff accidentally barged in my room and which woke me up. I did get back to sleep until 2pm, and just woke at 7:40. I had implements to help me sleep, but b/tn might having a drug test in the neat future and leaving them in my car, I don't have them.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27pm
doctorjazz:

Chresti, I know there are worse problems, but...
(I still haven't even checked out much on the OTHER alternate streams, probably best that I don't, or I might just have to cancel the rest of my life).

WR:

doctorjazz at 8:21, I've started listening to 2 or more streams at once, never was getting back to archive. it works for me. stresses my partner a bit during dinner but I just turn it down a bit when necessary.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33pm
