It makes sense, esp. considering how much 70s rock is very performatively, fakely ultra-masculine (I call it "dong rock"), sounding to me like it was made by guys who were insecure about sexuality and masculinity (though I'm obvs biased since I can't stand that stuff).

And it was a waste of perfectly good records. Somebody bought all those records which assumes they liked those records so I don't know where those records came from. Did the white teenage blockheads steal them from their sisters?

My fave off the album was a song about a harried southern California family man with 15 kids who goes away on a Sunday drive, only to return home and find he now has 35 kids! This was "Marly-Purt Drive." Jose Feliciano had a minor hit with it and Lulu, Maurice Gibb's ex-wife also recorded it.

Lulz is a typographical subversion of the word "lol", meaning to Laugh Out Loud, thus emphasising the humour derived from the subject by way of making the original word sillier. Lulz is awesome.

It makes sense, esp. considering how much 70s rock is very performatively, fakely ultra-masculine (I call it "dong rock"), sounding to me like it was made by guys who were insecure about sexuality and masculinity (though I'm obvs biased since I can't stand that stuff).

My fave off the album was a song about a harried southern California family man with 15 kids who goes away on a Sunday drive, only to return home and find he now has 35 kids! This was "Marly-Purt Drive." Jose Feliciano had a minor hit with it and Lulu, Maurice Gibb's ex-wife also recorded it.
