SOp, my mom had to drive me to the guitar nun. my school was poor and without guitars, though i later rented a sax there to prove i was no more a saxophonist than a guitarist... but that led me to the clarinet (and i still love sax, just suck at it, but maybe slightly less than the clarinet.) recorders are for kids! Learn one Woodwind yer pretty good for fingering them all. Clarinet so similar to sax but much squeakier - harder to get emboucher right to not make a horrible sound. Is my take...

We're fixing to make the jump to induction. Easy to clean, cool to the touch unless there's a pot or pan inducing heat, VERY low temps for sauces, keeping warm, etc. Fast heating, synced elements for griddles. It all sounds wonderful. Safely doing sous vide on the stove? Yes please.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm

Order of the morning:
Kettle on, grind the coffee.
Water on for oats.
Feed the kitty (sometimes this comes first, depending how far her breakfast campaign has advanced).
Pour hot water into coffee pot, stir.
Whisk oats into boiling salted water.
Stir oats meditatively for several minutes, while coffee brews and cat flings her food around.
Plunge coffee. Cover oats and turn off burner.
Retreat to bedroom with coffee, to proceed with the wakening.
After the dog is walked, oats are stirred, warmed, mixed with fruit, nuts, maple syrup, peanut butter, etc., and consumed with the last gulp of coffee.
