  2:05pm RevPhil:

Back in 1972 I attended a oldies concert at Hunter College in N.Y.C. and one of the performers there was NOLAN STRONG. At that show I was sitting on the first row and noticed to my right two white middle age couple on that stage watching NOLAN STRONG performed. I'm sure that couple were Jack and Devora Brown watching their star performer.
  2:06pm The Butterman:

I only know “ back on the scene with my wrecking machine” from Parliament/Funkadelics Me Wiggles. Detroit radio reference! Ima learnin’!
  2:06pm Cooh John:

More specifically, egould310, the Necros were from Maumee, Ohio. I grew up there.
  2:15pm RevPhil:

In the early 1970's I met SMOKEY ROBINSON and I asked him about the unreleased "Adios My Desert Love" recording that sound like SMOKEY on lead but he denied it being him.

In 1969 I knew a DJ by the name of Tom Clay who used to be on a radio station in Detroit and he told that he often seen Jack Brown at his station trying to get the radio station to play his records.
