So... back years ago I lived not far from Jose Feliciano. My friend Mike worked at the record store and Jose's girlfriend came in to rent some movies. She handed Mike Jose's credit card. Mike looked at it and said, "You're not JOSE FELICANO!" (The manager then told him it was cool, she came in all the time.) This story is funnier when Mike tells it, of course...

When Aaron Freeman of Ween fame put out Marvellous Clouds, a tribute to Rod McKuen I wasn't familiar with Rod. When I listened to the album I recognized some of the songs from my childhood in the 80s as well. Still not sure from where. A Man Alone specifically was something deeply engrained in me.
