Hey Julie, looking forward to your show, I think I reached out in the past but I think we met at The Hammersmith Odeon to worship at the altar of her worshipness Kate Bush, I was wearing a WFMU t-shirt like you do!!

Hi Julie and listeners
  12:09pm
Dean:

This Demon Fuzz album, Afreaka!, was issued in 1970 as Dawn 3013. Earlier that year, Dawn 3007 appeared. It was The Road by Quiet World, Steve Hackett's first(?) recording venture, not long before he joined Genesis.

Avatar 🦇 12:12pm
Julie:

thank you, Sean!
  12:13pm
Dean:

I have it, played it I'm gonna guess more than thirty years ago? I honestly don't remember! It features Steve's brother John, too. John appeared on, e.g., Hackett's first solo album post-Genesis.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:14pm
Sean in Bristol UK:

@Dean, I thought I knew all things Genesis, thank you for the info
  12:15pm

@βrian: Not P-Orridge, if that's what you mean.

My pleasure, @Sean. So many things Genesis. You know Flaming Youth, yes?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22pm
Rich in Washington:

Hi Julie!
Hi everyone!
  12:23pm
Dean:

And Charlie Drake? Post-Genesis Gabriel.

I know of Steven Wilson, but I don't closely follow his work. I picked up the huge Gentle Giant box a while ago. It includes a Wilson remaster.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
Sean in Bristol UK:

As a prog rock fan, Steven Wilson, Blackfield, No-Man and Porcupine Tree, this just ticked all the boxes, all down to WFMU, knew diddly squat until this fine station played some tracks
  12:30pm
Dean:

Flaming Youth was Phil Collins' first(?) recorded band. Charterhouse was Rutherford's and Ant Phillips' project that issued a track on a Charisma sampler. Named for the school they attended.
