Hi Scott, I think if you get up on the mic, you'll need just a little more gain to be heard over the bed. Just a bit.

Everything sounds real good here in North Texas!!!... I always like a tad of reverb on the mic but that's just me...:)

Hey Scott. Bragged to Mr. Williams that I had a copy of his bed music until me gently pointed out that I had your bed music! Oops. :)

back in the day i made a 100-minute yo la tengo compilation cassette called "the feedbacky". the only challenge was what to leave off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm

This reminds of the intro to "Expecting to Fly"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm

(that track is "Georgia thinks..." but probably everyone knows this)

@coel: Just did a quick kitchen survey: nope.
Avatar 8:20pm

... but dill won out over tarragon, if that matters.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm
Little Danny:

Doesn't dill win against almost all other herbs?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm
WR:

Dill with vinegar chaser overpowers most herbs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm
WR:

Y'all drew me into that random herb chatter when I had picked up the phone to comment that I found LOL clever Scott's saying LD is the headliner tonight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38pm
Little Danny:

I call it a co-billing. Font size stays the same.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
chresti:

Dill, don't need a lot, very strong. Tarragon, too something.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
Little Danny:

I can deal with a lotta dill. Only basil comes close in my world.
Avatar 8:43pm
still b/p:

Coela with dill,
Coela with dill,
If he doesn't please ya,
No other fish will.

Earlier today when someone casualized the name to "coela," a version of that already hopped itself to mind quickly..kinda automatically. Now, with the herb introduced, well, the adaptation just had to...evolve.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm
chresti:

Both very distinctive. Basil wins.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
chresti:

Dill and capers with fish, I think.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm

I happened in there completely oblivious some time in the late '90s.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm

Posted this once before, but I once caught Cherry and Blackwell at a dive bar on 3rd ave just off Bleeker. It was crowded, though most of the crowd was there to drink and hand 3 at their usual place. It was weird, but gym.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51pm

It was odd to be in a packed bar to see those 2, and almost nobody else was there for the same reason.
I once caught BassDrumBone in a similar divy bar in the theater district, but at least half the crowd WAS there to see them.
  9:51pm
Little Danny:

Our man in Western PA. Thanks Doug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm
coelacanth∅:

... i'm amused also that there was a whole conversation before
when i wasn't looking
about herbs, that somehow included me even though i know absolutely nothing about how it started or why i was mentioned
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm
Scott McDowell:

It's a cool story doctorjazz when you could just happen upon that in NYC.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm

Ornette on trumpet...i didn't actually think he could really play it..
Thanks, Scott!.
