He took some nibbles and sneaked the hamster treat back into the box not knowing I was watching.

	8:52am ratso: My Hamster story: many years ago in a house I was renting, we had a 5 gallon bucket of bird feed in the garage. It was winter, and we heard a noise out there, and found a hamster trapped inside the bucket. He must have climbed in and got stuck. We had no idea where he came from, but we rescued him and kept him until he died a year later. He had quite the setup of habitrails, though.

	8:56am YETI BOB: I had a hamster. I used to let him run around outside. One day I found him dead in the backyard with no obvious cause of death. I felt terrible - you're not really supposed to let them outside. But now I think his time was just up - had him for a couple years and today I learned their lifespan is only 2-3 years.

	8:52am ratso: My Hamster story: many years ago in a house I was renting, we had a 5 gallon bucket of bird feed in the garage. It was winter, and we heard a noise out there, and found a hamster trapped inside the bucket. He must have climbed in and got stuck. We had no idea where he came from, but we rescued him and kept him until he died a year later. He had quite the setup of habitrails, though.

	8:56am YETI BOB: I had a hamster. I used to let him run around outside. One day I found him dead in the backyard with no obvious cause of death. I felt terrible - you're not really supposed to let them outside. But now I think his time was just up - had him for a couple years and today I learned their lifespan is only 2-3 years.
