@ami ad, the alonest I ever managed to get in the city was in the Financial District on Xmas afternoon, 1999. We had taken the PATH back from NJ and were walking from WTC. We didn't see ANYONE for about 20 blocks. We got to the W. Village, and Kenny's Castaways was open and we grabbed hold as if to a life preserver! Ended up a very pleasant night.

"We discuss a particular stringy modular cosmology with two axion fields in seven space-time dimensions, decomposable as a time and two flat three-spaces. The effective equations of motion for the problem are those of the SU(3) Toda molecule, and hence are integrable. We write down the solutions, and show that all of them are singular. They can be thought of as a generalization of the Pre-Big-Bang cosmology with excited internal degrees of freedom, and still suffering from the graceful exit problem" - from Nemanja Kaloper "Stringy Toda Cosmologies", 1996 arxiv.org...

When I was living in Denver a few years ago, I practiced a few times with the Denver Gaels club. I was in my late 40's at the time. Ok shape, but not great. So, I tended goal. Well...there were a few lads from the old country on the team then, and they decided to put me to the test. I still have the scars. One shot in particular still haunts me to the day. One of the forwards fired off a rocket aimed straight at my head. Instinctively, despite the fact that I was wearing a helmet, I turned my head. Bam! Right in the ear! Blood and everything. The coach wouldn't let me practice for the rest of the session. Soooo humiliating.

It's been well documented that the quality of Docs has absolutely plummeted after the brand was sold to a private equity fund and production outsourced to the far east. I would have been happy for that Munehiro Narita track to take us all the way to noon -- not to disparage what has come after! I was just super digging. You wrung two golden stars out of my greedy heart, Warwick, you Boy of Bad Fancy!

Great show today -- thanks for it! May the ghosts of murdered bagels never keep you from your feed!

Keep it real with nonbinary corns, all the Garbage People! Take it easy.
