There were some odd shows overnight on broadcast tv. Led by the Don Kirshner rock concert show. There was also the Kenny Everett video show that had very peculiar acts and skits. The Punk rock tv show was way before its time. And not a poser show.
Avatar 3:21am
Jesse Dorris:

This is one of the very few interviews with Florian I've ever heard. From Chicago, 1975. We'll hear a bit from it throughout the show.

Ajay from Krommenie / NL:

Hey Jesse. What a fantastic show. I work as a production manager at Paradiso in Amsterdam and did 8 x Kraftwerk shows in Paradiso in 2015. An incredible experience and huge honour. It took us 3 days and nights to build up everything for the 8 shows. On one of these nights Ralf came to me and said that Kraftwerk had played in Paradiso in 1976, just after finishing recording Trans-Europe Express at Kling Klang Studio. The band played tracks from the as yet unreleased album at Paradiso and recorded the set. They went back to Düsseldorf to their studio with the recordings, listened back to them, and made adjustments to the mix of Trans-Europe Express. The album that was released were the mixes based on the tweaks they’d made after the Paradiso show
Avatar 4:31am
Jesse Dorris:

WHAT! That's amazing. I've heard that that 1976 show there was the first time they played T-E E live!
Avatar 4:31am
Jesse Dorris:

I didn't play it because I'm focusing on Florian's songs. But it's a wild version. And what a story, thank you for sharing it!

The solo in "The Hall of Mirrors" is Karl Bartos'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37am

It is the occasion on which Bartos claimed for future co-writing credits.

Hey @Guido. I know there's all kinds of future friction with Bartos...but it's a very good solo.
