(not l.a.though!) ...good or not, i don't know. i like where i am now at least as much as any of those places i loved in california. ... but i was living like a gypsy -loving the simplicity of my life, when i "got stuck here". next thing i knew i'd accumulated lots of stuff.

Dude, you’re an artist… Comedy might be the first thing you dived into… But the rest of it is just art? Whenever a comedian does something non-comedy it’s always a revelation or something. Good… But come on… I shoulda went to art school.

And how — at least when museums are open — you can just pay what you wish (aka: $1) and be in the middle of cool stuff.

High art was there to be stared at, if that's what you wanted to do. No one cared if you walked into their gallery wearing flip-flops and cut-offs. I hope after this shit storm is behind us, the cultural gate keepers will take the stick out of their ass and relax, and we can all freak freely.
