The crazier thing is the official notice says something like the subway will be closed from 1am to 5am until things in the system stabilize. Meaning this *might* be permanent.

If you are a 3rd shift worker you can get a special pass to allow you to ride the subway 1am to 5am.

Wow! This all sounds like my dad’s life in Poland back in the 1920s.
