A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Yes, littering is a strange habit. I often see those little plastic disposable flossing wands on the ground when I gas up the car. So people floss while filling up and then drop it on the ground? I guess so!

In fairness to my very good friends the Bush Tetras, they will tell you that the Roseland show, reviewed in the NY Times, was not very exemplative of the talent or style. They were much more used to playing small clubs like the Mudd Club or the Pepp, where they could catch the groove of the crowd. A big room like Roseland was not their bag.

I’ve been enjoying Josh’s sharing of his political record collection on his IG feed
https://instagram.com/jmacphee?igshid=ivevxmljils3
He posts a song a day.
I’ve also appreciated the graphic “care package” that Justseeds has been putting together. Really uplifting imagery for these times, that people can download and use...

Sorta self-aggrandizing since they’re both projects I’m peripheral to

Otherwise We’ve been bust in our butts on the farm cos, go figure, people still need to nourish their bellies as much as their eyes and ears!

@βrian, no, not at all, but Kate is actually excellent in both the construction and dramatic presentation of them.

planet tyler, most of our dj's are in the process of learning how to stream live from home. Some are already streaming, some are pre-recording the day before and sending in to be aired day of show b/c they aren't up and sstreaming yet. it changes daily, but goal is as many as humanely possible. Of course you can imagine that your average person even if they are a wfmu dj is ready on a moments' notice to dj from home.
