So economics of sudden lack of income for the next 4 weeks come into play. Also NYC public schools will be closed until April 20 and kids don’t take care of themselves! This mess is really a big lesson in economics and how one thing connects to another.

The damage is done, from the economical point of view. There will come better times again, but for the foreseeable future, I'm am SO afraid when it comes to our jobs and the money in our pockets. (People staying safe is and stays the most important thing, though, of course, whatever needs to be done!)

But as already pointed out, we probably don't need to make too much of a science of it and I believe that at WFMU, of all station, no great, interesting show was kicked because it raised too less pledges and therefore seems to be too commercially unpopular ... :)
