	11:30pm Dean: Eerie. I made a prime rib, two ribs, way too much for my wife and me on New Years Eve, so I had to re-purpose the leftovers. One night I did a beef stroganoff, the leftovers of which I had today for lunch. I credit Merrill Schindler with promoting SGV for restaurants even back in the '90s, but that article obviously left out lots of good spots. If I were in the LA area again, I'd make a point to spend quality time in your 'hood.
	11:32pm Franco Twinkie: I made posole on New Years Eve. But I brought the corn and tomatillos from home because one year I spent a whole afternoon driving around the East Bay looking for what I take for granted around here.

Today, venturing out for juice from TJ's I stopped there first and walked away with a big container of beef stroganoff. Fixed me up...for a minute.

	11:30pm Dean: Eerie. I made a prime rib, two ribs, way too much for my wife and me on New Years Eve, so I had to re-purpose the leftovers. One night I did a beef stroganoff, the leftovers of which I had today for lunch. I credit Merrill Schindler with promoting SGV for restaurants even back in the '90s, but that article obviously left out lots of good spots. If I were in the LA area again, I'd make a point to spend quality time in your 'hood.
