First, congrats for reaching the goal!

But… Sooo… I have no hear a few DJs say there is no endowment. But I also remember Station Manager Ken clearly saying the sale of the WFMU parking lot (which — and this is publicly accessible data — went for $3.5 to $3.75 million) and part of that sale price would indeed go toward’s an endowment.

Confusing messaging, TBH. Might be better asked to Ken but hey… Just hear the claim now so posting it now.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I am poor
- so THANK YOU all Pledgers
for making ALL THIS possible for all of us.
As far as Music & Broadcasting - WFMU is the Resistance - don't forget it. This shouldn't be possible - all official models are against it. It means 10Xs other stations on 1/10th the budget. Yet it is cornerstone media & culture - & yes community for me & of course many. Indispensable.
THANX

This Electric Funeral is incredible! Crazy Amanda-esque vocals, too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm
mcginniwa:

Had to look up Electric Funeral. When I first saw the name in combination with the singing style, I assumed it was "muppets do Sabbath" concept or something. Wacky and cool that it's a weirdo band from the early `70s.

I enjoy the Garcia Peoples so much more than I enjoy the Dead. Is that allowed?

looks like you were right re: limewire virus!
  7:35pm
queems:

so it is actually about limewire
  7:35pm
BH:

I assume the MP3 of "Limewire Virus" was distributed through an .exe file
  7:39pm
BH:

I might be confusing this with another file sharing program, but I think that Limewire had a pro version, that people promptly shared on non-Pro Limewire because that's how people roll.
