Based on two songs, I'm guessing the theme is Destinations for Lovers. This Zorn is about the only three-guitar recording I've heard that I can make any sense of. It's quite nice.

Yeah, it's just about the sweetest Zorn record I can think of.

PS, I like Tiny Tim.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14am

That Chen record is a fascinating multi-generational thing between a father and son. The son took recordings by the father (vocals) and added a new musical bed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17am

Dean, I don't think he has any direct involvement at this point. And isn't this event being programmed by a third party? I'm very curious to find out what caused them to turn the 25th over to n outside entity.

Harry Bernstein of Berkeley is curating OM next year. He's also doing some fundraising. This year's was fairly stripped down, wasn't it? Just a few performances by the Arditti String Quartet (which isn't per se a bad thing)? Is OM having trouble with finances? Anyway, Harry is the guy who hosts shows at his house at various times during the year, e.g., DKV Trio in June 2020.
