I just now discovered that if you use the pop-up on the WFMU home page to launch a player for the stream (instead of using the old "wfmu.pls" link that I've had for years), the currently-playing track is displayed with an album cover, and if you click on it, it takes you to an Amazon page for the album.

Thanks for the tip Irwin. I'll check those out. The other thing I notice with the Boston college outlets is they went through this App initiation phase but lately they just don't service them, or let them die.

The FMU app's a monster. It wants to be heard, and it hangs in there. Even coming out of a tunnel.
